Mastering Incoterms® 2020: Risk, Cost & Control in Global Trade
10 March @ 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm
| €175The Incoterms® rules were created and are published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the business organization behind the world’s most widely used trade standards. Since their first introduction in 1936, Incoterms have become the universal language of international trade, defining the responsibilities of buyers and sellers across borders. If there is one training that truly helps you understand and apply these essential rules with confidence — while also exploring what may evolve in the next revision — this is the one!
Incoterms clarify who arranges transport, who bears risks, and who pays which costs at every stage of the shipment. Because they are used worldwide in contracts, purchase orders, and trade documentation, a correct understanding of Incoterms is essential to avoid disputes, unexpected costs, and legal uncertainty in international trade.
This is an in-depth, practical and comprehensive training on how to apply Incoterms® 2020 in international contracts and manage their consequences for transport, risk, costs, and documentation — including discussion of current challenges and areas that may be reconsidered in a future 2030 revision.
